NCDs are the primary reason of mortality and morbidity around the World, accounting for 63% of all global deaths. India along with other middle income countries contribute to 90% of preventable, premature deaths due to NCDs.

In India 26% probability of deaths between 30 and 70 years are from four main non-communicable diseases (NCDs), like heart disease, cancer, diabetes, and respiratory diseases.With the increasing burden of NCDs in India;Interventions that increase the awareness among communities are need of the hour.

Apollo Tele Health Services (ATHS) a division of Apollo Hospitals Group, is Screening people ‘at risk’ for development of NCDs like Anemia (only women), Diabetes, Hypertension, Stroke and Cardiovascular Diseases (CVD).

The program also envisions to assess people’s risk factors for other NCDs like Cancer and Stroke and provide health literacy for the prevention of NCDs.
